Leading distribution partners commit to LP SmartSide Trim & Siding products, expanding access, inventory, and service for customers

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 29, 2026-- LP Building Solutions (LP), a leading manufacturer of high-performance building products, today announced a new distribution strategy for its LP® SmartSide® Trim & Siding portfolio that will expand customer access to the full product line across the United States. The strategy brings together a select group of leading distribution partners that have committed to carrying LP's complete SmartSide® portfolio and supporting its continued growth in the market.

Under the new model, Specialty Building Products will provide nationwide coverage for professional dealers, one-step distributors, and retail customers, while other distribution partners will provide coverage in designated regions. These partners include BlueLinx, Coastal Forest Products, Forest Products Supply Co., J.M. Thomas Forest Products, Minot Builders Supply, Palmer-Donavin, Sherwood Lumber Company, Taiga Building Products, Wausau Supply Co., Weyerhaeuser, and WS Building Materials. Several of these distributors are existing LP partners expanding their SmartSide offerings, while others will join LP's siding distribution network for the first time.

Participating distributors will carry the full LP SmartSide portfolio, including ExpertFinish® and Naturals Collection™ products, and transition away from competing siding products.

The simplified model is designed to expand product availability, strengthen distributor focus on LP's siding offerings, and create a more consistent customer experience across markets.

The distributors selected as part of the strategy share LP's focus on long-term growth, customer service, and market development. They bring dedicated sales organizations, sophisticated logistics networks, broad product availability, and a proven ability to deliver products accurately, completely, and on time while supporting customer growth in local markets.
